The Biotechnology Research Center (CRBt) in collaboration with Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) will conduct the Biorisk Management Curriculum Development Workshop for Veterinary Sciences, from 25 to 28 August 2019 at the National Biotechnology Research Center (C.R.Bt) in Constantine.
The workshop is dedicated to the National Institutions of Veterinary Sciences :(Algiers, Tiaret, Souk Ahras, Blida, Batna, El Taref, Constantine. )
Using a combination of facilitated discussions, case studies, and individual work,This workshop will develop the knowledge and skills to establish and integrate biorisk management into existing university or collegiate curricula. After a brief orientation to biorisk management, participants will conduct a gap analysis on their existing curricula to determine when and how to introduce key biorisk management concepts. Participants will then, learn about Instructional Design System and models of adult learning to develop the curriculum and its content.After attending this workshop, participants will demonstrate the ability to:
• Identify the right BRM topics and design a BRM training curriculum to meet job-related training goals
• Build an effective BRM Curriculum plan
• Select interactive and engaging delivery strategies. »
